Allan, You and many other writers continue to site this current situation. In fact, it is many ways the theme of the current market, which has persisted at least as long as I have been investing. What will it take for junior explorers to get their act together in ways that you mention? The general public absolutely hates this sector and it is for me an actual leap of faith to believe it can and will change. I feel I have invested in sound companies at various stages but realize more than ever that I could lose everything...that this is extremely risky. I will not be selling, but AM concerned that the vast majority of these "investable juniors" will ultimately fail and go away. Please give me some reasons to be more optimistic. Thank you.

Steve, I have seen this happen before. In particular, in the years before the 2001 to 2011 gold bull market, it was pretty much exactly the same. Then the stocks entered the bull market and some of the best ones were tremendous wealth creators. One way that I think junior explorers can get their act together after making an important discovery is do better at telling their stories using X-Twitter and YouTube. This is why I am pointing it out, I hope more investors and commentators do the same directly to the companies. I know the generalist investors hate this sector, much like they did just prior to the 2001 to 2011 bull market. The ones that bought quality stories during the hate period, then held on to enjoy the bull market, made plenty of money. It certainly wasn't an easy ride, but it definitely made a lot of investors huge gains. No matter which sector you are in losses and risks are reality. Take for example, big Wall Street Stocks are flying and many think they are less risky. I look at their valuations and see they are at historically high valuations, which means to me they are extremely risky. Whereas mining stocks are at historically low valuations and some of have great projects which seem much less risky for me. As far as I'm concerned it is only a matter of time. I don't know your positioning or risk tolerance. But for me, the best strategy is to focus on impressive discoveries and companies with management committed to telling their story on a consistent basis. All the best, Allan.

Thank you for your speedy reply, Allan. My positioning is quite sizable given that I'm retired, have adequate sources of money to have all that I need no matter what, but ultimately losing big money in this sector would hurt...no doubt about it. My risk tolerance is high and I am doing exactly as you espouse in your writings. In fact, we share several holdings and I follow several other high-quality "experts" in the space and have a very diversified portfolio. Will hang tight and keep my fingers crossed. Good luck to you in your holdings and continued success with your very useful materials.

I thought I subscribed to a newsletter about mine’s and miners, but the last two articles have been on how bad the industry is at promotion. Not what I expected.

You did. But, it is all part and parcel of what I look for. The first filter is what comes out of the drilling, then the economic potential to become a future mine. But, I also think that telling the story of what they have is crucial. I don't see all of these factors come together often, when I do, those are the companies I get the most excited about. Making a discovery with the drilling, then promoting it are very important factors for me and some of the readers of my reports and viewers of my interviews. I will put you down as one that it isn't important to. I will let you know in advance that it very well could be included in more of my future reports. If that is not something you want to read about, there is an unsubscribe button that you can click, because I certainly don't want to bother people with my content if they aren't interested in it. All the best, Allan.

Allan, I agree it is important the industry promotes itself, but you are preaching to the choir.

Thanks for listening.

I have plenty of executives of mining companies that read my reports. Some of them need to hear the message. I also have lots of engaged investors that I hope will tell the companies they follow the topics in my last couple reports.
