Puma Exploration Has Hit High-Grade To Bonanza-Grade Gold In A Series Of Parallel Zones Open At Depth
They are focused in New Brunswick on the hunt for high-grade gold mines.
I’m seeing a very similar market for junior gold stocks as I saw back in the early days of the 2001 to 2011 gold and metals bull market. Basically, you could see in the gold price action and juniors that very few believed it was the start of a bull market.
As is often the case, history is repeating. In early November, 2022, gold was trading a little over $1600, and since then it has traded to nearly $2100. It has seen a very powerful trend, with higher highs and higher lows. But for the most part conviction is still moderate for gold and the gold stocks are trading near where they were when the trend became bullish.
It is remarkable that it is still easy to find gold juniors with high quality projects trading at very cheap valuations. It is clear that few believe we are at the start of a powerful bull market that has the realistic potential to last for many years and see gold juniors have parabolic moves.
I’m pleased to have found a new company to join my report sponsorship program at Rocks And Stocks News. Puma Exploration (PUMA.V) has an excellent gold exploration project in New Brunswick, Canada, that has returned high-grade to bonanza-grade gold in drilling, with widespread gold mineralization on their property. They have a cheap valuation and plenty of catalysts to unlock shareholder value.
Now that they are a sponsor I will be able to cover them closely in the reports and do a series of interviews as important news is made.
The first thing that jumped off the page when I was doing my homework is that at their Lynx Gold Zone (LGZ), they have a series of parallel zones, all pointing in the same direction, with excellent continuity of the high-grade gold that is open to follow deeper.
They are very close to the surface in these zones and it looks like they will have great success drilling deeper.
If I had to guess what kind of a gold mineralizing system they are in, I would say it looks like an orogenic gold system. They are high in the system, yet seeing bonanza-grade gold in the fine grained gold portion of the system. As they go deeper I would expect them to see more coarse grained gold and higher grades.
In any gold system, I watch the continuity of the gold mineralization very closely. It helps guide the geologists and gives them higher confidence for predictability of where the zones go as they drill deeper.
In this case, I’m particularly impressed that they have a series of parallel zones that are all dipping in the same direction. This tells me that they could all come together at depth and are part of a very powerful high-grade gold mineralizing system.
More evidence they have found a powerful system can be seen in the surface sampling and plan view of the drilling that shows widespread gold in the sampling and near the surface drilling.
To the north of the LGZ are the Cougar Gold Zone (CGZ) and the Jaguar Gold Zone (JGZ) that are additional indications they are into a powerful gold mineralizing system.
As you can see, the CGZ and JGZ have widespread gold mineralization including bonanza-grade gold.
The highest priority is the LGZ, where they have plenty of drilling to look for additional parallel zones and follow them to depth. This is a remarkably good target that looks to be able to keep delivering high-grade to bonanza-grades of gold. Then they will assuredly want to get after the CGZ and JGZ.
Their Williams Brook project is on the west side of the Bathurst Mining Camp (BMC), which is well known for VMS mines as it is in the top 3 in the world for these kinds of mines. What is less well understood is the potential for gold deposits. Puma Exploration is changing that quickly.
This is a very mining friendly jurisdiction with outstanding prospects for base and precious metals, with supportive communities and governments. Companies in the province are able to get drilling permits, as well as stripping and trenching permits in a matter of a few weeks. Which is pretty unheard of in the mineral exploration business throughout Canada and many other jurisdictions worldwide.
The province has a rich history of past mining, excellent access, no need to use helicopters to support drilling. It truly is one of the best jurisdictions worldwide.
The VMS mines in the BMC were found, built and mined from the 1950s through the 1980s and the key ground was held by major mining companies. So not a lot of modern exploration techniques have been utilized. The BMC is emerging as a fantastic region for exploration and new mine development, with Puma Exploration having great success and is one of the leaders to bring more attention to the BMC..
When regions like this reemerge, it can take some time for the Canadian mining industry to take note, and the rest of the world for that matter. I can see that Puma Exploration will be a leader of bringing more attention to the incredible geology in the BMC, with excellent mining infrastructure and access, and pretty much year round exploration.
In Closing
Now that Puma Exploration is a report sponsor at Rocks And Stocks News we will follow the company closely and do a series of interviews as news is made. The first interview is scheduled to be done soon, so that our audience can learn more from management about the attractive potential to valuation opportunity that Puma Exploration offers.
