Goliath Resources is my highest conviction gold discovery story because I think they have the potential for a Tier 1 gold discovery at their Surebet, Bonanza and Golden Gate zones.
They were found after glacial retreat in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia exposed a remarkable zone of mineralized outcrop at the Surbet Zone. It outcrops from one side of a mountain to the other and had never been seen by humans until the geological team at Goliath spotted it.
They drilled under the outcrop and found a big zone with widespread high-grade gold in the sediments. They drilled below that and found the Bonanza Shear Zone that is double the size of Surebet. It also has widespread high-grade gold at the contact of the volcanics and sediments.
Drilling under the Bonanza Shear Zone was a game changer because they found the Golden Gate Zone. It has minimal drilling so far but returned high-grade to bonanza-grade gold in the volcanics.
These three zones have shown the importance of boots on ground exploration. They are following that success and making the same efforts with regional exploration on their large land package.
They have produced a great video explaining regional discoveries they have made.
One that stands out is the Treasure Island discovery in the northeast corner of their land package.
It is called Treasure Island because there is a large outcrop poking out from surrounding ice cover. The first thing that caught my attention is that the whole outcrop has come back with high-grade gold and copper mineralization.
My intitial conclusion was there is no way that mineralization stops at the edge of the outcrop. The nice thing about the outcrop is they can reach under the ice with angled holes after they drill under the outcrop.
Another thing I would point out in the video is that you can see a lot of alteration. They show where they plan to drill and the holes are planned for right where all the alteration is located. When metals bearing fluids make their way to the surface they hit the country rock and chemically alterate it. Seeing so much alteration is a heck of a good sign.
In addition to the Treasure Island discovery, their regional exploration found other exciting discoveries as well.
All of the regional exploration discoveries have a common denominator. High-grade mineralization.
All the best,

Allan, have you seen any high level maps that show where the glacier has retreated and which miners have property in those areas? Thanks!
