Goliath Resources Has Made A Significant Breakout Since Recently Announcing A Spectacular Drill Hole That Returned 10 Metres of 139.23 Grams Per Tonne Gold
I’ve been monitoring the social media sites that have investors talking about Goliath Resources due to the spectacular hole. It is getting a lot of attention and I totally get why people want to focus on the stock action. That is what happens when an explorer with an important discovery has a breakout that we can see in the chart below. But, I think that can get in the way of thinking about what the Truth Machine is telling us with the drilling.
As more drilling is being done, the project is getting much bigger and better, especially when looking at the transition of the visible gold high up in the system to where the drilling is at depth.
At the top of the mountain, in the sediments, there is sporadic fine-grained visible gold. As they have drilled deeper into the sediments the fine-grained visible gold becomes abundant. At the contact of the sediments and volcanics, the fine-grained visible gold is abundant and there is also coarse-grained visible gold showing up.
This trend in the visible gold is clearly opening up the possibility that this is a Pogo Mine lookalike. It isn’t only the trend in the transition of visible gold. At Pogo, there are a series of gently dipping stacked veins that make up the mine. And what do we see at Surebet? A series of stacked veins with remarkable distribution of visible gold. To really emphasize the geological similarities between Pogo and Goliath’s Surebet discovery, I am planning to do a video report soon. In it, I will show images of the vein models and drill core of both.
What is kind of astonishing for Surebet, is that they are likely still high in the gold system. And there is a lot of open room to expand along extensions of the strike as well as into the mountain just on the current model of the zones. Plus, everything is wide open between what is known from drilling and the depth potential leading to the heat engine responsible for the gold system.
There is a lot of visible gold in all of the rock packages (sediments, contact of the sediments and volcanics, and in the volcanics) including what are being thought of as reduced intrusion related zones. Every rock unit has visible gold which is what I call the Wow Factor.
I don’t really care if people think that is overly promotional. I’ve been in exploration for over 30 years. During that time, I have been studying drill holes and geology intensely. While being mentored by brilliant people in geology, geochemistry and geophysics. If drill results make me think Wow, it is because it deserves it based on my experiences throughout my career in exploration.
What is remarkable about the Surebet discovery is that they are still likely to have just drilled into the top of the entire system.
Another exciting thing about Goliath Resources is their Treasure Island discovery that looks to be in the early days of a high-grade gold-copper rich volcanogenic massive sulphide system (VMS) in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. What made the Golden Triangle world famous was the discovery of the Eskay Creek gold-silver rich VMS. When it was in production, it was the highest grade gold mine in the world due to the spectacular grades of gold and silver.
What has me excited about Treasure Island was that in the 2023 season, they did a series of channel cuts that had massive sulphides with very high grades of gold and copper. In the 2024 season, they drilled 12 holes and hit massive sulphides that look like the channel cuts. The results of the holes are pending and I’m eagerly awaiting the assay results.
I’ve been calling Goliath Resources my highest conviction pick for a gold explorer with an important high-grade gold discovery for awhile now and with each season of drilling my confidence is growing.
All the best,

Doubtless many will have seen the strategic alliance between Goliath & Mcewen mining. Any thought positive or negative ? Does it put a floor under yesterdays close, the price a5 which the deal was done? Interesting that it comes with warrants exercisable CAD2.50 over the next 12 months

Allan, I know AEM and AGI are your favorite gold producers, and I own AGI because of your thoughts. I am currently looking at EQX as a possible addition primarily because of their greenstone mine…any insights?
Thanks, Terry
