An Idea On The Top Of My Mind To Help Explorers And Developers In Mining
I've been seeing some key issues that explorers and developers need help with to grow. I can see a confluence of events coming together that will provide a better environment for growth.
In the past, Canadian media outlets used to cover exploration and development, but after the 2001 to 2011 metals bull market ended, that pretty much stopped. I had personal experience with this.
From 2007 until early 2012, I used to be a regular guest on BNN. Then they changed production people and hosts and stopped covering explorers and developers for the most part. When that happened, my phone stopped ringing from them to come on for interviews.
The brokerage house analysts used to cover exploration and development a lot closer. After 2012, they found fees for funding technology, crypto and weed stocks was more lucrative. So they also somewhat abandoned the sector.
This left the job of telling their stories to online content creators like myself. I work hard with my interviews and reports to do the research and reporting that explorers, developers and growing producers need.
Over the past couple of years, sentiment toward this part of the mining space has been particularly challenging. Which has left a lot of very good companies under funded with not enough patient investors. It takes time and money for growth, with both in short supply.
With the recent breakout in gold, I think we are on the verge of a better environment for mining stocks. One key milestone happened yesterday, when gold had its first ever monthly close above $2000. Another key milestone is right in front of us which I’m watching closely, when gold breaks above $2100.
Basically, what I see the need for is an angel investor network for mining. My plans to create one is in the early stage. If you have any thoughts on how to make this happen, or questions on what I’m working on, please drop me an email. I can also be reached on my Mexican cell at 492-238-5282.
All the best,
Allan
What about a gold barometer or thermometer showing the gold production mined in the world how it is growing each day month or year.
Yes the technicals can follow, I’m suggesting a larger than life timesquare super ball measured in gold bars showing bars grow in tonnage. Symbolic of the mining industry maybe noting huge mine contributors by name or country. Enjoy your comments and insights.
